SURAG is part of this year’s otto ist innovation marketing campaign by the city of Magdeburg. After being interviewed for the campaign some weeks ago, we participated the campaign opening and received one of the campaign’s booklets.
Some weeks ago, the city of Magdeburg’s marketing office contacted us for an interview as part of this year’s marketing campaign otto ist innovation. The campaign’s goal is to demonstrate the innovative strength of the city’s inhabitants and institutions all over Germany.
After setting an appointment, two of the office’s visited us in our lab at the medical campus to learn everything about us and our project. We started by telling the story about how the idea for SURAG has been born, continued with the first patent, the critical success stories and milestones of the project, and concluded with our vision of SURAG being the market leader for audio-based feedback systems for surgical instruments.
Yesterday, an exhibition with all companies featured in the campaign had been inaugurated in Magdeburg’s main shopping center, “Allee Center”. Additionally, the marketing office produced a booklet containing the featured companies, which will be distributed on appropriate occasions, so keep looking for one of the campaign’s brochures!
This day was incredibly successful for our hosting INKA chair, as the chair manager Dr. Boese and one of the SURAG mentors, Prof. Arens, are also part of the campaign with their jointly developed ball endoscope. Congratulations!
